8 Image Panorama using GND 0.9 soft. Bishan Park, Singapore.
This is my first time entering the park, and as I walked around I found many interesting compositions here; as I also find this is the best time of the year the sun sets behind the HDBs, for the desired back lighting effect to take place. The rain just stopped and the sky was a total overcast, but I guess it wasn't all bad.
Will probably try another better day and see what I will get.

Sri Pada Adavia - සමනළ කන්ද - Adems Peak from a distance
Via Flickr:
Adam's Peak (also Adam's Mount; Sinhalese Samanalakanda - සමනළ කන්ද "butterfly mountain", Tamil Sivanolipatha Malai - சிவனொலி பாதமலை), is a 2,243 metres (7,359 ft) tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well-known for the Sri Pada "sacred footprint", a 1.8 metres (5 ft 11 in) rock formation near the summit, in Buddhist tradition it is held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Shiva and in Muslim and Christian tradition that of Adam. Heaven Fall Down - Corbetsview, Knuckles Mountain Range (දුම්බර කදුවැටිය), Sri Lanka, a photo by MiyuruR on Flickr.

I stayed at Corbets View holiday bungalow (Website: www.corbetsview.com). This was the early morning view from there. It was breathtaking view. Its somewhere in Knuckles Mountain range but don't know for sure the name of the exact location.
The Knuckles Mountain Range lies in central Sri Lanka, north-east of the city of Kandy. The range takes its name from a series of recumbent folds and peaks in the west of the massif which resemble the knuckles of clenched fist when viewed from certain locations in the Kandy District. Whilst this name was assigned by early British surveyors, the Sinhalese residents have traditionally referred to the area as Dumbara Kanduvetiya meaning mist-laden mountain range (Cooray, 1984). The entire area is characterised by its striking landscapes often robed in thick layers of cloud but in addition to its aesthetic value the range is of great scientific interest. It is a climatic microcosm of the rest of Sri Lanka. The conditions of all the climatic zones in the country are exhibited in the massif. At higher elevations there is a series of isolated cloud forests, harbouring a variety of flora and fauna, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Although the range constitutes approximately 0.03% of the island’s total area it is home to a significantly higher proportion of the country’s biodiversity. Ref:Wikipedia
Fading Away - St. Pete Beach, Florida
Via Flickr:
St. Pete Beach is a coastal city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States famous for its status as a tourist destination. St. Pete Beach was formed from the Towns of Pass-a-Grille, Don CeSar, Belle Vista, St. Petersburg Beach and unincorporated Pinellas County. At the time of its incorporation in 1957, its name was St. Petersburg Beach. However, just about everyone referred to it as 'St. Pete Beach' and, on March 9, 1994, locals voted to officially change the name to the shorter version to distinguish it from the City of St. Petersburg a few miles to the east. The population was 9,929 at the 2000 census. In 2004, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated the population at 10,027.[3] St. Pete Beach's downtown is centered around Corey Avenue. This district contains many bars, restaurants and shopping popular with both tourists and locals.[4][5][6] The historic Don CeSar beach resort is also located in the city.Wikipedia

Honda CBF-125
Via Flickr:
I started taking photos 3 years ago just so that I could create images of my real passion; cars. I then moved to China and no longer had my car, so photography became my new passion. It's been 2 years since I photographed a vehicle, and this set felt like I was coming around full circle. Using everything I've learned photographing people, places, etc and applying it back to my original passion.
My good friend Winfred ( www.flickr.com/photos/wangqinlong/ ) was assisting on this shoot. We headed up to the reservoir and called a friend who'd just bought a shiny new motorbike to come join us.
Strobist Setup:
An SB-600 and some cheap YN-460s popped with eBay triggers, sometimes wearing eBay umbrellas.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Photo shot in Weinan, China. RAW processed in lightroom, then edited in Photoshop.

Lightning Crashes
Via Flickr:
A pretty impressive lightning storm passed over Washington last night. I set out with my camera and tripod to try and photograph lightning for the first time. Once I figured out the right exposure (best to use bulb) and f-stop (8), I was able to capture over 200 images. This is one of my early favorites.

Houston Lightning Storm Panoramic
Via Flickr:
I always get weird looks when I run to the balcony with the tripod and camera. Tonight their was the first lightning storm… or I should say… first lightning since we moved in. I took about 20 timed shots altogether and only 4 or so were workable. This was the best one of the bunch. Hopefully there will be more lightning next storm (without damage of course)
super large zoomable version here.

If you look at the larger version you can zoom in and see the lightning through the skyscraper that is not finished.
